From their website:
Ronja is an Open-Hardware optical datalink that connects two PC’s point-to-point. Ronja’s design is licensed under the GNU Public License: you get all the necessary documentations and construction guides free. The construction costs are minimal, it’s probably the cheapest wireless system ever. The operation is very reliable and immune to interference

Some (too) puritan people have been bugging me about that link of Lego porn. They say my page has lost its point (what? did we ever had a point?).

Now, specially for them, a new page with Lego toys as the stars: The Holly Bible (Old and New Testament) with Legos.

Here is the link!

Yeah! Remember: if you are under 18 (or 21 y-o, depending on where you are) you should not continue reading. Porn is porn and is only for adults!

But… for this time I think we can make an exception: this is Lego porn. Really, I’ve heard of Barbie and Ken fucking around, but this is incredible: Lego figures making love (or something similar)? At least Barbie is a pretty girl…

Update: ok, I forgot to post the link. Here it is. Enjoy it.

Thanks to Internet, Cisco is today one of the most important and largest hardware (and software) companies: talking about routers is talking about Nortel Networks, Motorola and some others, but when you say “router” one always thinks first of Cisco.

Siliconvalley.com carries a story about the beginning of Cisco. It wasn’t easy, man! But patience has its (well paid $$$) rewards.

As a former OS/2 user (I even joined the Team OS/2!), I thought today OS/2 was only that sorta thing used by some mad people… but I god shocked when I saw that Steve Wendt still maintains a news page (few and low importance news, thought). Not only that, there’s still a soft of Comdex, but only for OS/2 users & apps: the Warpstock.

Another long adored, born, read and many times reborn system, the Amiga, has also a lot of fans and now (for the first time in many years) an important expo: the AmigaExpo.

The title of this article seems to be the title of a very stupid article. But in fact it’s worth reading. It shows what happens when a domain expires and the owner has not renewed it yet.

Did you know it is put in ‘hold’ for 60 days?
Did you know after that 60 days the domain acquires the ‘soon to drop’ state and on 06:30 of the 6th day the domain is definitely free?
I didn’t!

Read that and more at eCommerceBase, in this article.

After a long time with no news, today (at last) I had time to sit down in front of a computer, update the page and paste a lot of news.

During the next week we will jump to a new server, an old Pentium-133 MHz machine, with 500 Mbytes of hard-disk and 48 Mebibytes of RAM.

This machine, called D’Artagnan, will run Debian GNU/Linux, Slash(finally, you will be able to write without having to ask me for a login & pass), Apache and Tomcat.
It’s not a powerful machine, but it’s more than enough for our traffic by now (that machine could serve round 50,000 pages/day).
The only problem is bandwith: it’s only a 128 Kbps link. I hope it’ll be enough.

Ten years ago, when people get bored, they masturbated frenetically until they went to sleep. Today, people does strange (and sometimes useful) things.
This is one of the most incredible utilities for a Pringles tin: making an antenna. You can read the article in O’Reillynet and see a photo here.

Get a lot of info about antennas in the Antennas WebSite of the Technical University of Valencia (information is in Spanish and in English).
